May 4, 2010 marks the release of the highly anticipated album The Ballad Of Purple Saint James by my good friend, Yahzarah.
For those who don't know of her, Yahzarah's previous releases include Hear Me (2000), Black Star (2003) and The Prelude (2008). She was also a background singer for Erykah Badu, appearing in the video for Bag Lady and made contributions to Badu's album, Mama's Gun. She has also done work with Little Brother and Grammy nominated group, The Foreign Exchange who she is currently touring with. She is also signed to Foreign Exchange Music.
While we eagerly wait the release of her album, Yahzarah and Team FE have released her lead single, Why Don't You Call Me No More and The Ballad Of Purple Saint James album sampler which just leaves you with wanting more!!
