Here comes yet another FREE release from 9th Wonder’s It’s A Wonderful World Music Group. Heather Victoria is the lone female singer in IWWMG and comes with a style that 9th says is reminiscent of Mary J. Blige’s classic album, What’s the 411. Get to know her by viewing the video below:

Victoria’s Secret was released on November 9th. This free EP has appearances from Rapsody, TP, Big Remo, Brittney Street, Skyzoo and an intro from Halo. On production, credits go to 9th Wonder, M-Phazes, Hi-Tek but the majority of the EP was produced by Soul Council member and a good friend of mine, E. Jones. I think the EP is a refreshing change from today’s R&B. It brought me back to 90s which is when a lot of folks say R&B was great. I like Heather’s tone of voice and the sincerity of her delivery. The M-Phazes produced Crush is one of my faves. A great beat paired with lyrics like, “I'm livin' in a world where my biggest crush doesn't even know just how much I'm in love...” makes this song very relatable and it gets you grooving. My other favorite is I’ll Always Be Down which features fellow IWWMG member, Rapsody and is produced by E. Jones. For those who know their music, this track has a Gina Thompson-esque a la The Things You Do vibe. A video for the song was also recently released.
All in all, I recommend checking out Heather Victoria’s, Victoria’s Secret to all the folks who appreciate true R&B and I look forward to what she comes out with next! To listen/download the EP, click the cover art below!
