It's late...almost 2am. If you know me, you know that it's normal for me to be up this late. Tonight is different...I have to wake up at about 6am because I have a plane to catch!!
I just wanted to quickly check in and let y'all know that this lady is in dire need of a vacation and basically that's what I'm about to do! Battling stress, different levels of being unwell and possibly a bit of the winter blues has taken its toll on me a great deal to the point I'm finally admitting that I'm pretty much at my breaking point and utterly burnt out! In typical "Lady Vee" fashion, I am taking a trip to relax and have some fun! I'm heading to North Carolina...which is almost like a second home to me...to kick back and hang out with all my friends down there who are more like family to me.
I do have some write ups to post but unfortunately, I ran out of time and energy to put them up before I leave. If I do have the time, you may see a post while I'm away but if not, when I return, I will be back with a vengeance along with a bunch of free downloadable goodness!!
Before I go, I will leave you with a lil' video. My friends of 9th Wonder's It's A Wonderful World Music Group had a artist showcase last week in North Carolina. It was broadcasting live on Ustream for the first time and of course, as a loyal supporter I was tuned in. In between acts, E. Jones, who hosted the show gave me a shout out that had me beaming with pride and I wanted to share it with you!
